Chamber screens for the Tempest 2 V2 with adjustable capacity
The depth to which you press the screen into the chamber sets the size of the load: 0.1, 0.15 or 0.2 g of herb. The same plate holds the herb above the bed of balls and lets air through. The balls in the head are kept in place by a separate head screen. Three capacities: 0.1, 0.15 or 0.2 g of herb

The deeper you seat the screen, the less herb goes into the chamber. The position closest to the balls gives microdosing at 0.1 g, the highest one a full load of 0.2 g. Moving it takes the tube and some poking from the neck side, so the chamber tends to be set once to suit your style. The weights are nominal, because the herb should lie loose. How do you change the chamber capacity in the Tempest 2? Press the screen in with the tube from the kit to the chosen depth. The closer to the balls, the smaller the load. How much herb does the Tempest 2 chamber hold? Nominally 0.1, 0.15 or 0.2 g, depending on the screen position. Loosely poured herb settles a little lower. Can the chamber screen replace the head screen? No. The heating balls are held in the head by the head screen: a different size, a different place, a snap-in fitting.
