Water adapter for the Lotus: cooler vapour through a filter
The Lotus heats with a flame, so the vapour leaving it can be warm and dry on the throat. Sending it through water brings the temperature down and smooths out the draw. This adapter has a 14.5 mm joint, the standard most bongs and bubblers are built to, and it comes with the herb chamber built in. You are not buying a separate chamber, you simply fit the Lotus cap on top of it. 14.5 mm male joint: fits typical water pipes and bubblers.
Chamber included: the adapter replaces the standard Lotus chamber.

Water filtration pays off during longer sessions and at higher temperatures, when dry vapour starts to scratch. Water takes away part of the heat and adds moisture, so the draw is gentler. The cost is a little aroma left behind in the water, which is why some people prefer the Lotus without the adapter for low temperature flavour sessions.
