The upper, tapered portion of the O-ring fits snugly and seals well with the fluid cell. The lower part of the O-ring flares out to a flattened falnge that forms a liquid-tight seal against the sample. The new O-ring, which are included with all current fluid cell orders, can also be purchased separately in packages of 10.
